Position Title 1: 2024-2025 Postdoctoral Residency in Psychology (Full-Time, In-Person)
Salary: $51,500 (Increases to $55,000 if HSPP designation is obtained prior to end of training year)
Background
Integrated Psychological Center of Indiana (IPCI) is a group private practice on the Northside of Indianapolis offering 1 postdoctoral resident position for the 2024-2025 training year. This postdoctoral residency focuses on specific training in sex therapy and couples therapy, built on a foundation of generalist competencies, including the provision of therapy across the lifespan and psychological evaluation/testing. Residents will also gain experience with training and teaching by providing professional/community presentations, offering collateral supervision for doctoral practicum student trainees, contributing to the practice newsletter/social media, as well as with group practice management. Training will also focus on providing longer-term, process-oriented, relational therapy and will include training from psychodynamic psychotherapy models, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Gottman-Method Couples Therapy. Supervision will incorporate identification and exploration of countertransference/transference dynamics and self-of-the-therapist.
Postdoctoral residents will obtain 2 hours per week of individual supervision with at least one hour per week from Dr. Maria Hanzlik, Clinical Psychologist and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor. As a result, some supervision hours will be eligible for application toward AASECT-sex therapy certification for interested parties. Residents will have a planned sequence of internal and external training and continuing education to support developing competencies in sex and couples therapy. This 12-month position can be extended beyond the training year for candidates who meet certain qualifications. Postdoctoral residents are W2 employees and are paid biweekly. There is an expectation for in-office work with flexibility for occasional work-from-home arrangements as needs periodically arise.
Position Description
- Program dates: September 2, 2024-August 29, 2025
- 40-45 hours/week, Monday through Friday
- Clinical duties:
- Schedule 28 patient contact hours to meet 25 hour patient contact hours per week (3 hours are 5pm or later)
- 50% (minimum) of caseload consisting of couples and sex therapy cases
- 25% psychological testing (10 testing cases in one year)
- 25% other clinical presentations/populations
- Co-facilitate at least one process-oriented group and one psychoeducational group in a training year.
- Engage in one community presentation during the postdoctoral year.
- Contribute to the practice newsletter and social media content creation to learn dissemination of psychology information to a non-academic audience.
- Engage in 2 hours of dedicated business of practice responsibilities per week.
- Scheduled training in introductory EFT and Gottman Method Couples Therapy models and introductory sex therapy core knowledge areas.

Position Description
Integrated Psychological Center of Indiana (IPCI) is a group psychology practice seeking full-time licensed clinicians (25 patient hours per week) to join our expanding practice. We are seeking motivated, compassionate, collegial mental health professionals to specifically provide psychotherapy services and/or assessment services, who have an interest in working in a group practice setting, and appreciate connection with other clinicians in a supportive work environment. The position will be an employee (W2) status, compensation is percentage based on income received, and is paid out bi-weekly. The clinician will panel with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, with credentialing handled by the practice. Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with, or willing to be trained on, providing telehealth services
- Serve a diverse range of clients
- Must become paneled with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance provider (credentialing is taken care of by the practice)
- Attend weekly clinician group meetings
- Maintain caseload requirements
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other providers within the group, as needed
- Correspond with referral sources to coordinate care
- Maintain case files within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Be responsible for other aspects of client care including returning phone calls in a timely manner, scheduling sessions, and collecting fees at the time of service
