Dallen Myers is a pre-doctoral clinician from the University of Indianapolis under the supervision of Dr. Maria Hanzlik. Dallen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. He has previously worked at a college counseling center treating university students with a wide variety of presenting concerns including grief/loss, sexuality, eating disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, substance use, and anxiety. He is also trained in risk assessment from his experience working at a regional suicide hotline.
Dallen’s clinical interests include working with children/adolescents, families, and couples providing both psychological assessment and therapy in a private practice setting. He believes in openness, non-judgment, and warmth to help build and maintain a safe therapeutic relationship in order to alleviate psychological discomfort experienced by his patients.
