Flor Valdes, PhD, Postdoctoral Resident
Dr. Flor Valdes completed her doctoral degree from Ball State University in 2025. Dr. Valdes is a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking psychologist who provides compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive care to individuals, couples, and families. She brings warmth, curiosity, humor, and authenticity to the therapeutic relationship and believes that therapy should be both a place for meaningful growth and a place where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. She believes therapy can be a meaningful space to better understand yourself, strengthen relationships, and navigate the many transitions and challenges that life brings.
Dr. Valdes is trained as a generalist, with particular expertise and clinical interests in couples and relationship therapy, sexual concerns, life transitions, perinatal mental health, and neurodevelopmental differences, including autism. She also has extensive experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan and enjoys helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
Her clinical and research experiences have shaped a particular interest in the intersection of sexuality, culture, relationships, family functioning, and mental health. She is passionate about providing care that is affirming, strengths-based, and responsive to each person's unique background and goals.
Dr. Valdes is currently accepting clients and looks forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater understanding, connection, and well-being.
