Samantha Toma, M.A., Therapy Practicum Student Intern

Samantha Toma (she/her) is a third-year clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of Indianapolis where she recently earned her Masters of Arts in clinical psychology. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from New York University (2024). She has provided therapy and assessment services at a college counseling center where presenting concerns included navigating major life transitions, trauma, depression, and identity exploration. 

Samantha is first-generation Egyptian American and is passionate about working with individuals of diverse, intersecting identities. She seeks to provide a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment. Her therapeutic approach involves adopting a strengths-based and collaborative approach that prioritizes exploring one's lived experience within the context of one’s identity, culture, and social context.
