Gottman Relationship Builder

We are pleased to announce a new online resource, the Gottman Relationship Builder, designed to enhance the therapeutic process for current clients and those not yet receiving services at IPCI. This tool is now available to complement your current work with your therapist or as a stand-alone option outside of active therapy.

At IPCI, one of the relationship therapy modalities we use is the Gottman Method, developed by psychologists Drs. John and Julie Gottman. Through years of research, they have developed an evidence-based framework of couples therapy that effectively increases connection, reduces conflict, and provides more fulfilling relationships. They have developed scientifically proven intervention techniques that have helped more than 100,000 couples.

As with any new skill, practice helps to synthesize and integrate what you’ve learned. The Gottman Relationship Builder is a collection of exercises and videos designed to improve your relationship and to greatly minimize chances of relapse.

This is useful for:

• Current couples in relationship therapy.
• Couples who aren't able or feel ready to begin couples therapy yet.
• Couples who want to maintain gains made in couples therapy and prevent backsliding
• Individuals who want to improve the way they interact with others and navigate conflict in any relationship.

This powerful system of proven interventions includes:

• 13 modules that cover all facets of the Gottman Method: friendship, intimacy, how well you know your partner, how you manage emotions and conflict, how you share your values and goals, and what gives meanting to your lives.
• 90 short and informative videos of Drs. John and Julie Gottman role-playing ideal and problematic ways to use your newfound skills (you do not have to watch all 90 videos, only the ones that are relevant to you).
• 35 exercises that you can work on with your partner.

If you are a current patient, your therapist would be happy to walk you through a demonstration of what it looks like.

The cost for the Gottman Builder is $185. Click Below to Purchase!
