Dr. Melanie Lobraco is a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with adults to help them move through previous traumatic life experiences. Joining IPCI from the Indianapolis VA Medical Center where she spent eight years helping Veterans work through combat experiences, sexual trauma, and childhood events. Dr. Lobraco is excited to bring her extensive trauma training to the community.
Prior to the VA, Dr. Lobraco trained at the various hospitals and college counseling centers including Compass Health Center in Chicago and the Vermont VA Hospital. Dr. Lobraco has a passion for working with trauma and loves working to build a strong therapeutic rapport with individuals – believing the connection is truly the most important part of the healing process. Trained in various evidence-based therapies allows for options in seeking a trauma process that best suits the individual.
