Dr. Kirstin Elliott-Noon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Toledo, her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University, and her Doctor of Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her previous clinical experiences include an inpatient hospital, LGBTQ+ community mental health, neuropsychological assessment practice, and college counseling centers. Her training as a generalist has prepared her to care for a multitude of presenting concerns but she has experience with and a passion for working with trauma, young adults, and identity exploration, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. She also has training and experience with a wide variety of psychological assessment batteries, mostly with children and adolescents.
Dr. Elliott-Noon integrates existential and feminist-relational approaches to co-create a therapeutic relationship that fosters authenticity, relatedness, and collaboration. She sees herself as a passenger on the journey to change and hopes to provide a space that is safe, accepting, and curious about how to get there. Her emphasis on the holistic view of her clients aims to help honor each piece of them and ingratiate them to live their fullest lives.
